Responsibilities
- ● Meet with clients and conduct an initial assessment
- ● Explain to new clients the principles and methods of reflexology
- ● Apply hands-on massage to patient's feet and to a lesser extent their hands and ears
- ● Instruct the client in self-reflexology techniques to be practised at home
- ● Keep detailed patient notes
- ● Set out a plan of future treatment
- ● Advise patients to seek mainstream medical treatment where necessary
Requirements
- ● Be willing to work on holidays, work on shifts, and accept change of shift
- ● Be able to work and stand for long hours
- ● Have proficient knowledge of foot reflexology, Tui Na massage, body oil massage, sports and/or deep tissue massage
- ● Have decent communication skills, both verbal and written
- ● Have excellent people skills
- ● Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance
