About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support the Private Banking Division, Wealth Credit team. This role offers strong exposure to credit risk management, securities financing, and private banking operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts with collateral shortfalls and credit limit excesses, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  • Support the maintenance and monitoring of exception handling for Private Banking clients
  • Analyze marketable securities and assign Advance Margins (AM) in line with internal financing frameworks
  • Perform regular reviews of securities eligibility and margin ability
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and internal risk reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance risk controls and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to support product development and business initiatives
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for systems enhancements and new projects
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members

Requirements

  • Min. Diploma/Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or related discipline
  • Min. 1-2 years of relevant experience in banking/finance
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of credit risk, securities, or financial markets is advantageous
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Candidates with advanced Excel functions (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, etc.) will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
