• ● Role Details:
• ● Casual relief work Monday to Friday as needed
• ● Friday availability is particularly useful
• ● Hours are not guaranteed
• ● Pay: A 30.00 to A 35.00 per hour
• ● Possible ongoing casual work
• ● Chai Chai's Family Day Care in East Gosford is seeking warm, reliable and experienced educators to join its casual relief educator pool.
• ● The service provides nurturing, play-based care for a small group of up to four children aged approximately 15 months to four years.
• ● The process begins with a 30-minute observation and meeting at the service. This provides an opportunity to meet, observe the environment and discuss the role. No work will be performed during the observation.
• ● Afterwards, both parties can consider whether the arrangement appears suitable. If mutually interested, the next step will be registration and approval through the family day care scheme. Once approved, suitable applicants may begin receiving offers of paid casual relief shifts.
• ● Support routines, safety, play and age-appropriate learning
• ● Provide nurturing, play-based care for children aged approximately 15 months to four years
• ● Maintain a safe, respectful and supportive home-based environment
• ● Must already hold a Certificate III, Diploma or recognised higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care that is approved by ACECQA
• ● Applicants who are only working towards the minimum qualification are not eligible
• ● Current Working With Children Check
• ● Current First Aid and CPR
