Responsibilities

  • ● Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements are implemented throughout the project lifecycle, from construction and installation to commissioning and qualification.
  • ● Work closely with project teams and contractors to maintain a safe working environment, ensure compliance with legal and company safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in construction safety performance.
  • ● Provide HSE guidance and support to construction projects.
  • ● Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure adequate HSE resources are in place.
  • ● Conduct site inspections, contractor audits, and worker safety engagements.
  • ● Review and monitor construction phase safety plans and compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
  • ● Investigate incidents, support root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • ● Monitor project safety KPIs and prepare HSE reports and dashboards.
  • ● Record safety observations and track corrective actions to closure.
  • ● Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • ● Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and site stakeholders to ensure safe project execution.

Requirements

  • ● Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or equivalent qualification.
  • ● Minimum 5 years of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) experience in construction or major project environments.
  • ● Strong knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health legislation and construction safety regulations.
  • ● Experience conducting contractor audits, site inspections, and incident investigations.
  • ● Familiarity with construction safety management throughout project execution, including installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
  • ● Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, or other regulated industrial environments is highly preferred.
  • ● Knowledge of cleanroom construction and GMP project execution will be an added advantage.
  • ● Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
