Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact by greeting all visitors and clients with a warm welcome.
  • Support the front desk, direct incoming enquiries and correspondence, and provide intuitive service delivery, anticipating needs or concerns and exceeding client expectations.
  • Assist the Facilities and wider team with day-to-day operations, including coordinating with vendors, reporting maintenance issues, and performing regular walk-throughs to ensure the workplace is clean, safe, and fully operational.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for the planning and flawless execution of client events, activations, and team initiatives.
  • Be visibly engaged every day in the workspace and build meaningful, lasting relationships with client employees and guests.
  • Implement improved initiatives and activations to the guest and work spaces to continually enhance the client service and guest experience.

Requirements

  • You must be outgoing and personable with a desire to provide quality customer service, providing a warm and engaging environment as people enter the Google office.
  • You'll be a collaborative team player who solves problems hands-on and can prioritise and juggle various responsibilities.
  • You'll show adaptability and flexibility in changing situations.
  • You have 2+ years of proven work experience in a related field such as hospitality, administration, event coordination, or facility/property management.
  • You have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle a varied workload.
  • You have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to develop relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and management in person and in writing.
  • You have the ability to work independently while also collaborating with diverse teams on exciting initiatives and activations.
  • You have a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating positive experiences.
