About the Role
NCN Health is seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our Numurkah team at Pioneers Lodge. The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant works as part of a multidisciplinary team, to support the delivery of care to resident. Under the direction or supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager, the Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant may be required to deliver therapeutic individual or group programs.
Requirements
- ● Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- ● Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- ● Ability to facilitate group activities
- ● Motivational and leadership qualities
- ● Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate V in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification and experience
- ● Ability to work as a member of a team or individually as required
- ● Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills
- ● Demonstrated knowledge and / or experience of aged care processes
