Responsibilities

  • ● Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • ● Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • ● Prepare and process supplier invoices, payments, payment vouchers and cheque/online payment documentation.
  • ● Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily banking transactions.
  • ● Handle debtor and creditor reconciliations and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • ● Assist with month-end closing and preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • ● Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.
  • ● Assist in preparing schedules and documents for internal and external audits.
  • ● Handle petty cash transactions, claims and reimbursements.
  • ● Assist with SST and other statutory/accounting-related submissions where required.
  • ● Liaise with suppliers, banks, auditors and relevant departments regarding accounting matters.
  • ● Work closely with hotel operational departments to verify invoices, purchases, revenue and supporting documents.
  • ● Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
  • ● Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • ● Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • ● Previous accounting experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is highly preferred.
  • ● Familiarity with hotel accounting operations and systems will be an added advantage.
  • ● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • ● Good numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
  • ● Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • ● Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • ● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ● Able to start immediately or within short notice will be an added advantage.
  • ● Accounting: 1-2 years preferred
  • ● Hotel/Hospitality Industry: Preferred
  • ● Job Type: Full-time
  • ● Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
