Responsibilities
- ● Lead the engineering design, system architecture, single-line diagrams, and schematic preparation for ELV systems (including BMS/IBMS, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, and Smart Building IoT) and associated electrical interfaces.
- ● Produce and review detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and BIM/CAD models; conduct technical coordination and clash detection with architectural, structural, and MEP services to ensure site constructability.
- ● Ensure all system designs and technical specifications strictly comply with Singapore regulatory requirements, BCA guidelines, relevant Singapore Standards (e.g., SS CP 5, SS 555, Fire Code), and applicable regional engineering codes.
- ● Develop and curate standardized design templates, equipment selection criteria, and engineering calculation guidelines to strengthen regional MEP and ELV delivery competencies.
- ● Provide technical advisory during project tendering, material submittals, testing and commissioning (T&C), and support additional engineering initiatives assigned by management.
Requirements
- ● Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Building Services Engineering, Telecommunications, or related engineering disciplines.
- ● Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ELV, electrical, or MEP system design within building construction, data centers, or smart facility projects.
- ● Proven track record in handling design drawings, technical submittals, and system integration.
- ● Experience in regional ASEAN projects or large-scale commercial/mission-critical facilities is an advantage.
- ● Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems, smart building technologies, and MEP engineering interfaces.
- ● Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM software, and engineering calculation tools.
- ● In-depth understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- ● Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and technical documentation skills.
- ● Ability to work independently and manage multiple project design deliverables under tight deadlines.
- ● Good written and verbal communication skills in English are required to prepare engineering specifications, compliance reports, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders and authorities.
- ● Proficiency in Chinese is strongly preferred to facilitate technical coordination and design review with Mandarin-speaking regional engineering teams, equipment vendors, and headquarters stakeholders.
