About the Role

SkillTrack.top is looking for an AI-Integrated Offensive Security Freelance Intern who is interested in combining cybersecurity knowledge with modern AI-assisted workflows. The selected candidate will support authorized security research, lab-based security testing, technical documentation, and educational projects while exploring how AI can improve security research, analysis, automation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • ● Conduct cybersecurity research related to offensive security and ethical hacking in authorized lab environments.
  • ● Explore the use of AI tools in security research, analysis, automation, and documentation.
  • ● Assist with authorized vulnerability assessment and security-testing projects.
  • ● Research emerging cybersecurity vulnerabilities, tools, techniques, and industry trends.
  • ● Build and test security concepts in controlled environments such as labs, CTFs, and intentionally vulnerable systems.
  • ● Prepare practical technical reports, documentation, and research notes.
  • ● Use AI responsibly to improve research efficiency and simplify technical workflows.
  • ● Assist in developing educational demonstrations and practical cybersecurity content.
  • ● Maintain proper documentation of assigned projects and submit work within deadlines.
  • ● Follow ethical hacking principles and work only on systems explicitly authorized for testing.

Requirements

  • ● Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and ethical hacking.
  • ● Knowledge of Linux/Kali Linux, networking, web security, and common security-testing concepts.
  • ● Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in integrating AI into cybersecurity workflows.
  • ● Relevant cybersecurity certification or practical training is preferred.
  • ● Prior projects, labs, CTF participation, GitHub work, technical research, or cybersecurity portfolio will be an advantage.
  • ● Good analytical, research, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • ● Ability to work 8 hours per day.
  • ● Responsible, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a freelance environment.
