About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Grocery All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hands-on role working across the shop floor, front register, deli, and back-of-house operations. You'll be expected to assist wherever needed across the store, so we're looking for someone with initiative, strong attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • ● Operate the front register and provide friendly, efficient customer service
  • ● Refill shelves and maintain a clean, well-presented store
  • ● Assist with unpacking, handling and rotating produce and grocery products
  • ● Assist in the deli, including serving customers, slicing and preparing deli products, restocking displays, and maintaining cleanliness
  • ● Follow food handling, hygiene and safety procedures when working in the deli
  • ● Support general store operations and other team members as required

Requirements

  • ● Previous grocery, supermarket or retail experience is essential
  • ● Previous deli or food handling experience is highly regarded
  • ● Comfortable assisting across all areas of the store, including the deli
  • ● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • ● Strong communication and customer service skills
  • ● Reliable, proactive and able to work well as part of a team
  • ● Must be available for early mornings, weekends and rotating shifts
  • ● Job Type: Casual
