CEILING TEXTURE

Responsibilities

• ● We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ceiling Texture Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying various ceiling textures to enhance interior spaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually appealing, durable ceilings that elevate the overall aesthetic of residential and commercial environments. • ● Prepare ceiling surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion of textures
• ● Apply different ceiling texture techniques such as knockdown, popcorn, slap brush, or skip trowel using hand tools and spray equipment
• ● Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute texture patterns according to project requirements
• ● Use hand tools including trowels, brushes, sprayers, and mixers to achieve desired finishes
• ● Coordinate with carpenters, painters, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless project flow and quality standards
• ● Perform restoration work on ceilings damaged by water or structural issues before applying new textures
• ● Maintain a clean work environment by properly caulking joints and tidying up after each project phase
• ● Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment used in ceiling finishing
• ● Strong construction experience with a focus on interior finishing and restoration projects
• ● Knowledge of carpentry principles and ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
• ● Familiarity with plumbing or welding basics is a plus for integrated projects involving multiple trades
• ● Ability to install flooring or tile as part of comprehensive interior finishing tasks when needed
• ● Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship in every project undertaken
• ● Pay: From 15.00 per hour
