About SAESL A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services. As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

Requirements

  • ● Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Knowledge Management, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
  • ● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • ● Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • ● Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ● Basic knowledge of high-bypass gas turbine engines and engine assembly processes will be an advantage.
  • ● Basic understanding of component repair processes such as welding, machining, thermal spray, painting, non-destructive testing (NDT), and cleaning will be an advantage.
  • ● Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • ● Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • ● The Senior Executive, Production Engineering is responsible for managing and maintaining engine overhaul and repair work instructions, technical documentation, and engineering data within SAP systems. The role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of engine records and maintenance documentation while supporting operational efficiency, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations throughout the engine maintenance lifecycle.

  • ● Technical Documentation & Data Management
  • ● Create, update, and maintain engine overhaul and repair technical instructions in SAP based on OEM-approved data.
  • ● Develop, document, and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and system usage procedures.
  • ● Maintain the Generic Engine Structure and Material Master within SAP.
  • ● Ensure accuracy, completeness, and effectiveness of engineering documentation and maintenance records.

  • ● Prepare engine induction documentation and update engine records in SAP.
  • ● Prepare engine release documentation to support engine delivery and customer requirements.
  • ● Maintain mandatory records and documentation required by regulatory authorities, customers, and company procedures.
