About the Company
We are hiring for a DELIVERY DRIVER & LAUNDRY ASSOCIATE to join our team at a busy laundry store. We have morning pickups where you will be using a cube truck 3T with a power tail gate. You will be driving to the truck parking location, pick up the trolleys of laundry, and bring it to our facility. Clean laundry will then be delivered back to the location. Please note you must be physically strong to push heavy trolleys when completing deliveries.
Responsibilities
- ● You must have adequate knowledge in laundry processing (Training provided) and experience in a fast-pace environment. The main job will be working with the team to complete laundry processing.
- ● We are looking to hire someone who can fulfill the following requirements:
- ● Be eligible to work in Canada
- ● Must hold a valid BC Class 5 license, with a clean driver's abstract (must present during the interview)
- ● Able to lift a minimum of 50-100 Lbs. safely when needed
- ● Respectful and professional - Should be able to work well with colleagues as a Team.
- ● Learn quickly and take direction well
- ● Work well independently and be flexible enough to handle changes
- ● Be presentable and have a positive and can-do attitude
- ● Reliable and on-time
- ● When working with us your responsibilities will include:
- ● Following specific instructions when processing laundry. Laundry service experience is needed, training will be provided as well.
- ● Communicating effectively with the other staffs.
- ● Must work well with others, and be able to take direction from supervisors.
- ● Maintaining a respectful and professional manner when interacting with customers
- ● Details: Shifts 6AM - 10:30AM or 6AM - 1PM (Monday - Friday) - Shifts can be flexible from 6AM or 7AM start at Annacis Island where our truck is parked.
- ● Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual
- ● Pay: 20.00 per hour
