Responsibilities

  • ● Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot
  • ● Develop and support API management solutions using Axway API Manager, API Gateway, or equivalent platforms (Apigee, Kong, Layer 7)
  • ● Build scalable backend services for enterprise banking applications (WAM/OPI)
  • ● Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • ● Ensure API security, performance, and reliability across environments
  • ● Work on integration with Oracle 12c/19c databases and/or Cassandra DB
  • ● Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
  • ● Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical solutioning
  • ● Support deployment activities in Unix/Linux environments
  • ● Follow SDLC, coding standards, and DevOps best practices
  • ● Required Skills:
  • ● -9 years of experience in Java development or API/microservices development
  • ● Strong hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot (mandatory)
  • ● Proven experience in either:
  • ● o API Gateway / API Management platforms (Axway, Apigee, Kong, Layer 7), OR
  • ● o Java Spring Boot microservices development (mandatory one of the two)
  • ● Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environments
  • ● Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • ● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
