About the Role

We're seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager - Operations to lead the day-to-day People & Culture function while helping shape its future direction. Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, you'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, driving improvements across recruitment, employee lifecycle management, OH&S, HR systems, compliance, governance and people operations. As a trusted advisor for HR matters, you'll play a key role in embedding People & Culture initiatives into practical, sustainable ways of working that enhance both employee experience and organisational outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Leading and continuously improving end-to-end People & Culture operations.
  • Supporting effective people and payroll processes, including data integrity, documentation and process compliance.
  • Overseeing recruitment workforce planning, delivery, through to onboarding.
  • Supporting and driving employee health, safety and wellbeing.
  • Driving a consistent, high-quality employee lifecycle experience.
  • Strengthening processes, governance, policies and operational controls.
  • Building strong relationships with leaders, external providers and system partners.
  • Leading and developing a small, capable People Operations team.
  • Using people data and insights to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • We're looking for someone who brings a strong HR Generalist experience, but who is also curious, commercially minded and motivated by continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist P&C role with operational leadership responsibility.
  • Strong experience across all facets of P&C divisions.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, compliance and people governance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and the confidence to influence leaders.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
