In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and well-functioning swimming pools by performing routine cleaning, chemical balancing, and minor repairs. • ● Perform regular cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to prevent algae buildup.
• ● Test and adjust water chemistry levels such as pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and stabilizers to ensure safe swimming conditions.
• ● Inspect pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform routine maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed.
• ● Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments to pool infrastructure and equipment.
• ● Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool serviced.
• ● Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or chemical mishandling.
• ● Assist with landscape maintenance around pool areas when required, including gardening or irrigation tasks.
• ● Prior experience with pool cleaning or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• ● Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and chlorination systems.
• ● Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
• ● Basic understanding of irrigation systems, gardening practices, and horticulture principles is a plus.
• ● Construction experience or background in landscape maintenance can be advantageous for multi-faceted outdoor work.
• ● Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
