*Overview*<br><br>We are seeking a friendly, dependable *Budtender* to provide knowledgeable, welcoming service in a regulated retail environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, communicates clearly, and can balance attentive service with accurate transactions and organized store operations.<br><br>*Responsibilities*<br><br>* Welcome customers, listen to their needs, and provide courteous, informative *customer service*.<br>* Explain available products and help customers make informed selections, following applicable laws and store policies.<br>* Use *retail sales* and *upselling* skills to suggest relevant products without pressuring customers.<br>* Process purchases accurately using the *POS* system; handle *cashiering*, *cash handling*, and basic payment reconciliation.<br>* Apply *basic math* skills when processing transactions and checking totals.<br>* Maintain product displays, support *merchandising*, and help keep the sales floor clean, orderly, and well stocked.<br>* Use *computer operation* and general *computer skills* to access store systems and complete routine tasks.<br>* Assist with *filing*, recordkeeping, and other administrative duties; use *Microsoft Office*, including *Microsoft Excel*, as needed.<br>* Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, using strong *communication skills* and *English* proficiency.<br>* Manage competing tasks with *time management* and *organizational skills*, while contributing to a positive team environment.<br>* Support team coordination and demonstrate *leadership* when appropriate.<br>* Safely move and restock merchandise, including occasional *heavy lifting*, in accordance with workplace safety practices.<br><br>*Requirements*<br><br>* Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.<br>* Experience in *hospitality*, retail, sales, cashiering, or a customer-facing role is an asset.<br>* Comfort using POS systems, handling cash, operating computers, and learning new software.<br>* Basic math ability and attention to detail when processing transactions and maintaining records.<br>* Good time management, organization, reliability, and a professional approach to customer interactions.<br>* Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting or moving merchandise as needed.<br>* *English* proficiency is required. *French*, bilingual, or other *multilingual* abilities are welcome.<br>* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel is an asset.<br>* Willingness to follow all applicable regulations, store procedures, and safety requirements.<br><br>Pay: $100.00-$500.00 per week<br><br>Benefits:<br>* Casual dress<br>* Flexible schedule<br>* On-site parking<br>* Store discount<br><br><br><br>Application question(s):<br>* Please rate your interest level in cannabis, from 1-10.<br>* How often do you consume cannabis?<br>* Are you currently employed?<br>* Are you willing to work at Redcliff location as well and have reliable transportation there? <br>* Closing shifts end late in the evening.
