Responsibilities

• ● Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• ● Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• ● Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• ● Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes.
• ● Educate patients on oral hygiene and post operative care.
• ● Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• ● Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
• ● Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• ● Support the clinical team with other day to day duties as needed.

Requirements

• ● Certified Dental Assistant or eligible to work as one in British Columbia.
• ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ● Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• ● Works well independently and as part of a team.
• ● Positive attitude and strong focus on patient care.
• ● Willing to work flexible hours between 24 and 30 hours per week.
• ● Preferred: at least 1 year of dental assisting experience.
