Job description: Medical Receptionist - Casual Part-Time (Immediate Start) Port Macquarie & Wauchope Clinics We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy practices located in Port Macquarie and Wauchope. Part-time position (3-4 days per week), with flexibility to cover shifts at both clinics when needed.

Requirements

  • ● Answering incoming phone calls and handling patient enquiries
  • ● Booking and managing patient appointments
  • ● Welcoming and assisting patients upon arrival
  • ● Patient data entry, faxing, and document scanning using Best Practice software
  • ● Liaising professionally with GPs and patients
  • ● Prioritizing tasks and managing a busy workload effectively
  • ● Delivering a high standard of patient care
  • ● Handling billing, invoicing, and receipting for consultations
  • ● Demonstrated customer service experience, ideally in a medical setting
  • ● Strong communication and telephone etiquette
  • ● Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload
  • ● Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • ● Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • ● Responsible, reliable, and highly organized
  • ● Proficiency in Best Practice software is highly regarded
