Responsibilities

  • ● Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Solar Power Plant's electrical facilities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and safety standards.
  • ● Act as the primary point of contact for electrical power failures and equipment breakdowns.
  • ● Engage with TNB, Energy Commission, and other relevant authorities to stay updated on legal requirements.
  • ● Implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize power interruptions and equipment breakdowns.
  • ● Regularly inspect and monitor HT and LV switchboards, transformers, switchgears, and TNB supply, and provide detailed technical reports.
  • ● Champion electrical safety by training staff and promoting best practices.

Requirements

  • ● Must possess a BO Chargeman Certificate (33KV) from Jabatan Bekalan Elektrik (JBE) or Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
  • ● At least 5 years of experience in the electrical field, with at least 2 years of experience in 33KV work.
  • ● Experience in Solar PV system is a plus.
  • ● Proficiency in Electricity Supply Act and Electricity Regulations.
  • ● Familiarity with Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) regulations and Safety Health & Environment (SHE) procedures.
  • ● Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • ● Resourceful with a knack for critical thinking and decision-making.
