Responsibilities

  • ● Keep the Produce Area Organized and Ready
  • ● Keeps the produce department clean, organized, and neatly zoned so it is ready for customers at all times.
  • ● Check Product Quality and Freshness
  • ● Rotates products regularly and removes expired items to ensure freshness and quality.
  • ● Ensure Accurate Pricing and Signing
  • ● Makes sure all produce is correctly priced and signed, following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, labels, and signage.
  • ● Follow Food Safety and Cold Chain Standards
  • ● Follows food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature checks, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell by and expiration dates.
  • ● Stock Merchandise and Set Displays
  • ● Stocks and downstocks merchandise as needed, applies product protection when required, and sets modulars, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep the department fully stocked.
  • ● Follow Health and Safety Guidelines
  • ● Follows all Health and Safety policies to help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • ● Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
  • ● Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
