Responsibilities
- ● Lead and promote a strong safety culture across Distribution Centre and logistics operations.
- ● Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the DC & Logistics team to build capability and drive performance.
- ● Ensure the safe, reliable and efficient movement of materials across Fortescue's logistics network.
- ● Manage logistics contractors to deliver strong safety, operational and commercial outcomes.
- ● Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and systems to enhance operational performance.
- ● Build strong relationships across Operations, Warehousing, Materials Management, Procurement and external logistics partners while leading responses to supply chain disruptions.
Requirements
- ● Demonstrated leadership experience in warehousing, logistics or supply chain operations.
- ● Proven experience leading frontline operational teams and developing high-performing people.
- ● Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- ● Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
