- ● KEY PURPOSE
- ● The Aged Care Worker is part of the SydWest's Aged Care Team which is part of SydWest's Aged Care Services Division. This position is responsible for providing individual assistance to SydWest's Aged Care Consumers as outlined in their individual care plans. The Aged Care Worker role is a crucial frontline role which ensures all consumers' needs are met and all services are delivered to a Gold Standard.
- ● Provide gold-standard, respectful and culturally sensitive in-home personal care, domestic assistance, social support, transport, flexible respite and a range of other individualised supports to SydWest's Aged Care Consumers
- ● Provide gold-standard customer service to all SydWest Aged Care Consumers
- ● Provide SydWest's Aged Care Consumers services consistent with Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission Policies & Procedures
- ● Adhere to SydWest's Policies & Procedures related to the work being undertaken in order to ensure own & others safety in the workplace
- ● Ensuring own and others safety in working within a community / remote related role
- ● Current driver's license and access to a fully registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle;
- ● Personal smart phone & internet access
- ● Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between Monday - Friday
- ● Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with a broad audience
- ● Knowledge and ability in supporting consumers from a Culturally and Linguistically
- ● Diverse Background
- ● Ability to work autonomously supporting consumers living within their own homes
- ● Current Australian National Police check (or willingness to obtain)
- ● Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- ● Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- ● Croation or Serbian speaking preferred
