About the Company
We are urgently hiring for a DELIVERY DRIVER & LAUNDRY ASSOCIATE to join our team at a busy laundry store. We have morning pickups where you will be using a cube truck 3T with a power tail gate. -PICKUP truck & laundry on Annacis island -DROPOFF at our facility -LOAD clean laundry & dropoff back on Annacis Island Please note you must be physically strong to push heavy trolleys when completing deliveries.
Responsibilities
- ● You must have adequate knowledge in laundry processing (Training provided) and experience in a fast-pace environment. The main job will be working with the team to complete laundry processing.
- ● We are looking to hire someone who can fulfill the following requirements:
- ● Be eligible to work in Canada
- ● Must hold a valid BC Class 5 license, with a clean driver's abstract (must present during the interview)
- ● Able to lift a minimum of 50-100 Lbs. safely when needed
- ● Respectful and professional - Should be able to work well with colleagues as a Team.
- ● Learn quickly and take direction well
- ● Work well independently and be flexible enough to handle changes
- ● Be presentable and have a positive and can-do attitude
- ● Reliable and on-time
- ● When working with us your responsibilities will include:
- ● Following specific instructions when processing laundry. Laundry service experience is needed, training will be provided as well.
- ● Communicating effectively with the other staffs.
- ● Must work well with others, and be able to take direction from supervisors.
- ● Maintaining a respectful and professional manner when interacting with customers
- ● Details: Shifts 6AM - 10:30AM or 6AM - 1PM (Monday - Friday) Shifts can be flexible with 7AM start.
- ● Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual
- ● Pay: 20.00 per hour
