Mixologist (Hilton Singapore Orchard)

Responsibilities

• ● The Mixologist is concerned with the efficient and professional service of food and beverages, while ensuring guests receive optimum service in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the hotel and Hilton.
• ● What will I be doing
• ● As the Mixologist, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• ● Execution & Guest Service
• ● Craft, garnish, and serve classic cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Hilton recipe and portion standards.
• ● Confidently explain beverage offerings, offer tailored recommendations, and guide guests through drink pairings and hotel venue options.
• ● Warmly greet all arriving guests, deliver prompt and attentive floor service, and proactively resolve guest queries to create exceptional experiences.
• ● Bar Operations & Inventory Management
• ● Prepare daily bar stations, stock inventory (beers, spirits, garnishes, fresh juices, and supplies), and maintain strict quality control on perishables.
• ● POS & Cash Handling: Ring up orders accurately via the POS system, process cash/card transactions, run checks, and complete secure end-of-shift cashier balance drops.
• ● Cleanliness & Compliance: Maintain a spotless, hygienic bar workspace, adhere to food safety guidelines, and strictly follow responsible service of alcohol and liquor laws.
• ● Revenue Focus
• ● Actively promote premium beverage selections, signature cocktails, and hotel dining promotions to maximize average guest spend.
• ● Suggest other hotel outlets, amenities, and local attractions to elevate the overall guest stay and build brand loyalty.
• ● Support floor colleagues, coordinate smoothly with supervisors during peak periods, and actively participate in team continuous learning modules.
