Responsibilities

  • Position Overview
  • Join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic offering flexible scheduling, a steady flow of client referrals, and the opportunity to collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, occupational therapists, and registered massage therapists.
  • As a Personal Trainer at F.R.O.M, you will work closely with our physiotherapists, chiropractors, and registered massage therapists to support clients in achieving their individual goals, including throughout their recovery and rehabilitation.
  • We are specifically seeking a trainer who is available during the following times:
  • Weekday and weekend mornings
  • Monday through Thursday evenings
  • This position is ideal for a trainer with a flexible schedule who would like to build their client base in a supportive clinical setting.
  • Develop and deliver individualized fitness and rehabilitation-focused exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated, interdisciplinary approach to client care.
  • Guide clients through proper exercise techniques, with an emphasis on safety, injury prevention, and functional improvement.
  • Track and document client progress.
  • Modify programs as needed based on client outcomes and feedback from the clinical team.
  • Educate clients about safe physical activity, healthy habits, and the role of exercise in injury recovery.
  • Assist clients in transitioning from post-treatment care to independent or performance-based training.
  • College diploma or undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Fitness and Health Promotion, or a related discipline.
  • Certified Personal Trainer designation from a recognized organization, such as CSEP, NSCA, or ACE.
  • Two to three years of experience working with clients or patients in a gym, healthcare, rehabilitation, or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic exercise.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
