Responsibilities

  • ● Teach and engage preschool children aged 2 to 6 years old using creative methods.
  • ● Plan and prepare daily lessons and activities at least a week in advance.
  • ● Organize and set up materials and activity sheets before class begins.
  • ● Collaborate with the Principal to develop activity sheets.
  • ● Draft letters or notes to parents with the Principal's approval.
  • ● Check children's bags daily and hand over documents to the admin or Principal as needed.
  • ● Monitor the children's communication app daily and respond promptly to parents' queries.
  • ● Maintain accurate records and checklists on children's progress and activities.
  • ● Work effectively with team members and communicate professionally with parents.
  • ● Contact and update parents about their child when necessary.
  • ● Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • ● Participate in fundraising activities for the kindergarten/association.
  • ● Carry out tasks assigned by the Principal during school events diligently.
  • ● Assist children with toileting needs when required.
  • ● Cover classes or duties in the absence of other staff as assigned by the Principal.
  • ● Adhere to the daily duty roster set by the Principal.

Requirements

  • ● Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • ● Certified by ECDA (L1/L2)
  • ● A high tolerance level towards children is an advantage
  • ● Able to work well independently as well as within a team
