Requirements

  • ● Role and Responsibilities
  • ● Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy programs and interventions.
  • ● Support participants to develop skills and independence in daily activities.
  • ● Assist with information gathering and preparation for Functional Capacity Assessments.
  • ● Support the implementation of OT recommendations and therapy programs.
  • ● Assist with paediatric participants, including those with ASD, ADHD, developmental delay and sensory processing difficulties.
  • ● Assist with Assistive Technology (AT) trials, equipment setup and participant training.
  • ● Assist with measurements, photographs and information gathering for home modifications.
  • ● Complete progress notes and other documentation as required.
  • ● Support participants in their homes and community to work towards their NDIS and therapy goals.
  • ● Liaise with participants, families, support workers and other professionals as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • ● You are required to have:
  • ● Relevant experience, study or qualifications in occupational therapy, allied health, disability or a related field.
  • ● Current Police Check.
  • ● Working with Children Check.
  • ● NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • ● Australian working rights.
  • ● Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • ● Access to a reliable vehicle for community-based work where required.
