Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This role will support the Housekeeping Manager in running the daily operation and ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and maintained to a high standard. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will lead and guide the team, monitor daily work, handle guest requests, and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations. The ideal candidate should have good leadership skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage a busy operation. Main Responsibilities Assist in overseeing the daily Housekeeping operation and team. Supervise Room Attendants, Public Area team members, and Supervisors. Check guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards. Organise daily work assignments and ensure sufficient manpower is available. Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve their performance. Follow up on guest requests, feedback, and complaints. Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments when required. Monitor linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Ensure housekeeping SOPs, safety procedures, and hotel standards are followed. Assist the Housekeeping Manager with staff performance, reports, inspections, and daily operational matters.
