About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● As Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, you'll combine clinical leadership with hands-on practice, with approximately 50% of your role dedicated to leadership and 50% to managing your own clinical caseload within Community Aged Care.
• ● You'll provide clinical guidance, supervision and mentoring to Occupational Therapists while continuing to work directly with older people in their homes. With a strong focus on independence, reablement and meaningful outcomes, you'll help shape contemporary OT practice and ensure services remain evidence-based, customer-centred and responsive to changing needs.
• ● You'll also play an important role in strengthening clinical governance, developing models of care and identifying opportunities to improve and grow Occupational Therapy services.
• ● You'll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
• ● Providing clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to the Occupational Therapy team, supporting quality practice and ongoing professional development.
• ● Managing a clinical caseload and delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to older people living in the community.
• ● Providing clinical guidance for customers with complex needs and supporting consistent, high-quality decision-making across the team.
• ● Leading the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, models of care and contemporary best-practice approaches.
• ● Contributing to clinical governance, service improvement, team performance and opportunities to strengthen and grow Occupational Therapy services.

Requirements

• ● To thrive in this role, you will have:
• ● A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• ● Demonstrated Occupational Therapy experience, ideally supporting older people within community or aged care settings.
• ● Strong clinical capability, including assessment, intervention planning and supporting customers with complex needs.
• ● Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentoring or guidance to other clinicians.
• ● Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills, along with a current driver's licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
