• ● We are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Western Sydney. You will provide support for people with a disability to live independently and maintain their best possible social wellbeing. You will support our customers to achieve their personal goals and to live satisfying lives in our community.
• ● KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
• ● Supporting our customers to achieve their daily living goals
• ● Assisting our customers with daily personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, etc.
• ● Promoting independent decision making
• ● Work within the principles of person-centred practice
• ● You are a passionate and dedicated individual who is looking to make a difference in the community. As a people person, you pride yourself on exceptional customer service whilst ensuring customers achieve their goals and aspirations.
• ● Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
• ● Experience working with adults with complex support needs (including physical and emotional needs)
• ● Driven, energetic, committed & patient
• ● Must be compassionate
• ● Strong communication skills
• ● Willingness to learn
• ● Flexibility with shifts
• ● Permanent shifts available on Monday (9am-2pm), Tuesday (10am-2pm), Wednesday (9am-2pm) & Sunday (5pm-8pm)
• ● Additional shifts available with other clients
• ● Current driver's licence and vehicle (essential)
• ● Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
