Senior Consultant Functional SAP MDG

Responsibilities

• ● Product strategy & vision:
• ● Define the product roadmap for enterprise data governance tools (e.g. Pilog, SAP MDG).
• ● Align with global data strategy and business objectives.
• ● Master data process ownership:
• ● Own end-to-end MDG product lifecycle.
• ● Implement governance rules, workflows, validations, and controls as per the business owners' decisions.
• ● Integration & architecture:
• ● Oversee integration with SAP S/4HANA, Data Dictionary, APIs, data services, and legacy systems.
• ● Ensure compatibility across alfanar eco-system.
• ● Data quality & cleansing:
• ● Recommend and implement upon business owner approval data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment initiatives.
• ● Partner with data stewards to maintain high-quality master data, qualify the dictionary.
• ● Global data migration:
• ● Define migration strategy, mapping rules, transformation logic.
• ● Oversee cutover and mock tests for global rollouts.
• ● Stakeholder engagement:
• ● Act as liaison between business, IT, and data teams.
• ● Collect requirements, manage and execute backlog, and prioritize features.
• ● Risk & compliance:
• ● Ensure adherence to GDPR, SOX, internal policies, and data governance frameworks (ISO/DAMA).
