About the Role
The Senior Solutions Engineer, Injection Molding is a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, pairing technical depth with business acumen to propose solutions to real manufacturing problems. Working in tandem with the Sales team, you'll be the technical voice in the room - anticipating objections, building confidence in Xometry's capabilities, and helping customers get to the right manufacturing solution faster.
Responsibilities
- ● Lead discovery conversations with Sales to uncover business and technical requirements and map them to Xometry solutions
- ● Be the technical liaison between molding teams and the customer
- ● Consult directly with prospects and customers to identify the right applications of Xometry's technology and build the business case
- ● Demonstrate Xometry's capabilities, including our software quoting platform, in a way that resonates with both engineers and executives
- ● Partner with product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams - feeding customer insight back into the business and contributing to case studies and marketing collateral
- ● Represent Xometry as an industry thought leader at events, webinars, and in the injection molding community
- ● Serve as the internal go-to expert on injection molding and related processes, helping the broader team speak credibly to customers about tooling, mold design, and process capability
- ● Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities
