Responsibilities
- ● Lead a multidisciplinary organization of engineering managers, software engineers, and quality engineers responsible for advancing how we prevent, detect, and resolve regressions across Samsara's Connected Operations Cloud.
- ● Build and operate the shared test platforms, frameworks, environments, data systems, and developer workflows that make high-quality testing accessible to every engineer.
- ● Enable Quality Engineering ICs with the tools, standards, and practices needed to perform effective automated and exploratory testing, investigate complex failures, and provide actionable quality signals throughout the development lifecycle.
- ● Establish Samsara's quality strategy, define measurable standards for regression prevention and release confidence, and partner with engineering and product leaders to embed quality earlier in the development process.
- ● Ensure that our testing capabilities scale with the growth of Samsara's products and engineering organization, improving coverage and signal quality while reducing test latency, flakiness, and manual effort.
