We support people living with a wide range of complex conditions, helping them stay safe, independent and connected to their communities. Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations. As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.
About the Role
In this role, you will be supporting our 1-year-old female client within her family home/school setting, who is living with a complex genetic condition. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients' clinical interventions (all training will be provided).
Responsibilities
- ● 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)
- ● Have experience with personal care, medication and manual handling
- ● Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
- ● Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
- ● Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism
