About the Role
In this role, you will: This is a role where your nursing skills and knowledge will really make a difference.
Responsibilities
- ● Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, their family and the care team.
- ● Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals. Effectively communicate with staff on the clinical condition/diagnosis and treatment/discharge plans of clients and ensure accurate records are maintained by staff.
- ● Identify and manage risks as part of care provision and lead the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.
- ● Support staff by delivering client-specific clinical training, mentorship and supervision by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
Requirements
- ● Confidence working with Microsoft packages like Word, Excel and Outlook.
- ● Good written and verbal communication skills.
- ● A person centred approach.
- ● An Paediatric nursing degree with an active NMC pin
- ● Experience in complex or critical care with competencies in tracheostomy and ventilation
- ● Experience managing clinical teams
- ● Experience in a community setting
