As an Electrical Technician (ATEX & Heat Trace Inspections) working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing commissioning and decommissioning of heat trace systems.

Responsibilities

  • ● Conduct ATEX Inspections on new electrical and mechanical installations and verify correct installation against design documents.
  • ● Conduct ATEX inspections (maintenance) on existing electrical and mechanical installations and complete inspection records for same.
  • ● Generate detailed reports for any issues found and present, along with suggested remediation works, to management.
  • ● Update trackers and generate associated metrics to give a visualisation of progress versus schedule.
  • ● Generation and execution of both commissioning and decommissioning documentation to support new installations or remove existing installations for both ATEX and Heat Trace systems.
  • ● Carry out scheduled maintenance on existing heat trace installations when required.
  • ● Update heat trace panel schedules.
  • ● Support fault-finding activities when required.
  • ● Working in a cross-functional team of skilled Technicians
  • ● Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Requirements

  • ● Excellent PC skills.
  • ● Ability to read electrical/P&ID drawings.
  • ● Ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with multiple tasks.
  • ● Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
  • ● Trade Qualified Electrician with 5+ Years' experience.
  • ● Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
