Intern - Management Company Accounting (NY - Harlem Lacrosse)

Responsibilities

• ● Assisting with the monthly close by recording monthly journal entries and reconciling accounts to the general ledger
• ● Work closely with international legal entity controllers in maintaining books and records of international entities and preparation of international regulatory filings
• ● Assist with cash management responsibilities including disbursements, recording, reporting and reconciliations
• ● Analyze financial statements and account balances for reasonableness
• ● Determine accounting for various transactions by review of legal agreements and appropriate GAAP research
• ● Assist in the improvement of current processes and procedures to enhance controls and efficiency
• ● Assist with special projects, accounts receivable and accounts payable on an as needed basis
• ● Rising Junior or Senior with a concentration in Accounting
• ● Prior internship or work experience in a related field preferred
