Responsibilities

• ● SFOC works to establish a robust foundation for the swift, systematic adoption of renewable energy.
• ● The Renewables Permitting team does this by providing the latest research and bringing together policymakers and experts from around the world, informing decision-making on policies and regulations for solar and wind energy siting and permitting.
• ● How You'll Contribute
• ● Analyze key policy issues related to offshore wind permitting and regulations
• ● Develop and implement campaign strategies to accelerate renewables deployment
• ● Engage with government, industry, and other stakeholders
• ● Communicate and build solidarity with domestic and international climate organizations
• ● Support other renewables permitting related tasks as needed
• ● Who We're Looking For
• ● + years of work experience
• ● Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills
• ● Strong project management skills to drive alignment and execution across teams
• ● Working level proficiency in Korean and English
• ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
• ● Passion for climate issues and a commitment to energy transition
• ● Nice to Have
• ● Offshore wind or climate related work/research experience
• ● Familiarity with Korean regulatory and policy processes
• ● Strong writing skills
