Responsibilities
- ● Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new maritime clients and expand the existing client base, targeting prospective clients with a minimum turnover of 50M+.
- ● Establish and maintain strong relationships with maritime clients and the overall shipping ecosystem (owner/operators, managers, charterers, brokers) to understand their challenges, objectives, risk appetite and international payment requirements.
- ● Research, identify and prospect different maritime clients that have a need for our cash management, treasury and supplier payment financing solutions.
- ● Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively presenting solutions that encompass the client's entire international payment needs.
- ● Collaborate with internal teams such as onboarding, client services and operations to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
- ● Leverage Ebury's worldwide footprint to service our clients in a truly global way.
Requirements
- ● Have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas within the maritime industry, or within cross-border financial services (ideally selling to global maritime clients).
- ● Have proven analytical, problem solving, numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
- ● Be able to develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment; presenting key selling points, features and benefits.
