About the Company

Datadog's Technical Solutions organization is made up of 1,200+ customer-facing technical experts around the world - including Sales Engineers, Technical Account Managers, Support Engineers, and Solution Architects - who work with prospects and customers throughout their journey with Datadog to deliver outstanding experiences and drive growth through product adoption. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

Responsibilities

  • ● Drive delivery of cross-team programs that support one or more Technical Solutions teams - coordinating stakeholders, dependencies, and timelines to keep work on track from kickoff through delivery.
  • ● Partner with team leads, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate program goals into clear, actionable plans, and document scope, timeline, and quality expectations along the way.
  • ● Establish and maintain program management fundamentals - project trackers, status updates, risk logs - so stakeholders always have visibility into progress and blockers.
  • ● Identify unclear or incomplete requirements early and bring structure to ambiguous problems, escalating only when needed to keep execution on track.
  • ● Use data to track progress against milestones, surface risks, and guide decisions; adjust plans as circumstances change.
  • ● Apply AI tools to streamline your own program management workflows - synthesizing updates, surfacing patterns in program data, or accelerating documentation - and help identify where AI can improve processes for the teams you support.
  • ● Communicate program status, risks, and impact clearly to stakeholders at different levels, adapting your message for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • ● Look for opportunities to improve how programs and processes run, and contribute ideas that make execution more efficient over time.

Requirements

  • ● 3-5 years of experience leading technical programs in a SaaS or technical environment, ideally including cross-team or cross-functional initiatives.
  • ● Experience supporting customer-facing or technical support functions is a plus.
  • ● Comfortable driving moderately complex, cross-team initiatives independently, with the judgment to seek guidance on larger or more ambiguous efforts.
  • ● Solid foundation in project scoping, timeline management, and risk management.
  • ● PMP, Agile training, or equivalent certification preferred.
