Responsibilities
- ● Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
- ● Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
- ● Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third party applications, ensuring excitement about the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
- ● Act as a champion for customers and colleagues, serving as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- ● Contribute to Databricks' technical community by developing customer facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet ups.
- ● Pursue development in one of four tracks: technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.
Requirements
- ● Ability to engage in complex customer interactions and the sales lifecycle in a technical pre sales capacity.
- ● Capability to influence decision makers and C level executives by building relationships and orchestrating teams for long term customer success.
- ● Prior experience coding in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn Spark at a basic level.
- ● Hands on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- ● Skill in providing technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigating a competitive landscape.
