Responsibilities
- ● You will hire great engineers to build an outstanding team
- ● You will support engineers in their career development by providing clear feedback, as well developing engineering leaders
- ● You will ensure high technical standards by instituting processes (architecture reviews, testing) and culture (engineering excellence)
- ● You will work with engineering and product leadership to build a long-term roadmap
- ● You will coordinate execution and collaborate with multiple product teams with feature requests from the platform
Requirements
- ● Great at hiring and developing talent, especially leadership
- ● Great at creating efficient processes that increase velocity and quality
- ● 2+ years of experience in managing teams that build and operate high-volume distributed systems in a SaaS environment
- ● 5+ years of experience with distributed systems and building platforms and services which serve multiple product teams and customers
- ● Have experience in scaling engineering teams from 5 to 20+
- ● Team player that will work with other departments (PM, CS) and engineering teams.
- ● BS or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
