As the DCS (Distributed Control System)/BMS (Building Management System) Service Engineer, you will report to the DCS Regional Manager (who is based in Singapore), and work closely with the rest of the Technical Operations team, making your mark in a number of ways:

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in the maintenance, programming, and integration of Tridium Niagara based control systems (essential); data center experience preferred
  • Awareness of mission critical Data Centre infrastructure such as redundant electrical systems and chilled water plant control strategies
  • A working knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, UPS, and associated plant and the different automation protocols, e.g. BACnet, Modbus, DNP3, etc.
  • Ability to construct PLC code from scratch and fully understand existing code including industrial PLC ladder logic and DDC visual logic
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
  • Possess strong technical implementation background in DDC/PLC logic, Bacnet/Modbus configuration, ICT/networking and server administration
  • Experience working with a range of DDC, BMS and SCADA products and platforms such as Distech Controls, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Moxa and so forth.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, BCA, AS.
  • Hands-on experience in plant optimisation and tuning
  • Strong computer and networking skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to interact with all professional levels within an organisation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
