Responsibilities

  • ● Navigate technical ambiguity to architect robust abstractions, translating
  • ● messy, region-specific identity requirements into unified back-end services.
  • ● Lead the design and execution of new system capabilities, evolving our
  • ● platform to support increasingly complex verification journeys.
  • ● Design resilient integrations with an ecosystem of external identity
  • ● providers, ensuring reliability and secure, silent data verification.
  • ● Act as a strategic technical partner to downstream engineering teams (e.g.,
  • ● Play, Cloud, and Google Pay), guiding the integration of our infrastructure
  • ● into their specific user journeys from onboarding to business generation.
  • ● Drive system-wide improvements across the various components that make-up the
  • ● Identity Verification (IDV) platform, taking ownership of critical
  • ● engineering metrics like pass rates and verification duration.
