YOUR ROLE As an Senior IP Network Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IP networks within the telecom domain. You'll ensure secure, stable, and high-performing infrastructure by configuring network devices, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- ● Planning, designing, and deploying IP networks in the telecom domain.
- ● Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other network
- ● Implementing and maintaining network security policies, including firewalls,
- ● intrusion detection systems (IDS), and network access control (NAC).
- ● Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing
- ● solutions to ensure network stability and performance.
- ● Documenting network configurations, procedures, and policies, and ensuring
- ● adherence to industry standards.
- ● Creating and maintaining documentation for network configurations,
- ● procedures, and policies, aligned with industry standards.
- ● Strong understanding of IP protocols (including OSPF, BGP), networking
- ● concept and technologies.
- ● Tracking performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing configurations.
- ● Conducting regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching to enhance system
- ● stability and security.
- ● Implementing safeguards to protect infrastructure and data from unauthorized
- ● Represent Capgemini to the client and provide technical leadership to
- ● remaining Network engineers on the client engagement
