About the Company
The Manager, Consulting Services (Workday Integrations) is a "go to" practice leader who provides expert guidance, advice, and delivery leadership for enterprise integration engagements across the Workday practice. This individual leads the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale Workday integrations and assists the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOWs). This person works closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Integration Architects, Managing Consultants, and leads, and acts as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management. This person will assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, defining integration strategy, and ensuring that the work/life balance of our consultants is monitored and adjusted appropriately.
Responsibilities
- ● Project Oversight:
- ● Oversight responsibility for projects and integration delivery across the practice.
- ● Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise integration design, architecture, and delivery across Workday HCM, Payroll, Finance, and third-party systems.
- ● Guide integration strategy including API-based, event-driven, file-based, and middleware-enabled integration patterns.
- ● Review and approve integration solution designs, technical approaches, and estimates, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and scalability requirements.
- ● Oversee and assist Engagement Managers and team members when needed to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies.
- ● Integration Leadership:
- ● Lead and mentor Workday Integration Consultants, Managing Consultants, and Architects across concurrent projects.
- ● Drive best practices for Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Web Services, REST APIs, and Extend integrations.
- ● Establish integration standards, reusable assets, accelerators, and delivery methodologies.
- ● Partner with client enterprise architects and technical stakeholders to develop integration roadmaps and strategies.
- ● Sales Support:
- ● Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work.
- ● Lead integration solutioning during pursuits, including discovery workshops, architecture definition, integration inventories, effort estimation, and proposal development.
- ● Present integration strategies and technical approaches during client presentations and orals.
- ● Team Leadership:
- ● Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
- ● Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.
- ● Lead and manage Senior Managers and/or Managing Consultants to ensure adherence to the activities, processes, and procedures outlined in Workday and the Cynergy Implementation Methodology.
- ● Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- ● + years of enterprise application integration and consulting experience, including 5+ years leading Workday integration implementations.
- ● Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Workday integrations across multiple systems and platforms using API, middleware, event-driven, and file-based integration patterns.
- ● Demonstrated experience integrating Workday with ERP, payroll, recruitment, identity management, learning, finance, and reporting platforms.
- ● Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, event-driven architecture, SFTP, data transformation, and enterprise integration patterns.
- ● Proven experience leading distributed integration teams and managing complex integration delivery portfolios.
- ● Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- ● Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoys fast-paced work environments; must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
- ● Workday Integration and Workday Studio certifications preferred; enterprise integration platform certifications desirable.
