About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Architecture and design of scalable, cloud-based database platforms
• ● Development and enhancement of automation platforms and tools to support database operations and reduce manual toil
• ● Analysis of incidents, identification of root causes, and implementation of automation-based improvements for sustainable problem prevention
• ● Technical support for application teams in selecting database products and performance optimization
• ● Provision of L4 support for Oracle databases and Exadata Cloud environments
• ● Design and maintenance of robust database models according to functional requirements
• ● Technical leadership (Tech Lead) for database and cloud architecture topics

Requirements

• ● Architecture and design experience for Oracle database platforms
• ● Extensive expertise as an Oracle DBA (CRS 11g-23ai) and in Exadata infrastructures, including Exadata Cloud@Customer and Autonomous
• ● Development and maintenance of automation solutions using Bash/KSH, Python, Ansible, and database scripting technologies
• ● Good knowledge in Java, Oracle APEX, and development tools such as Git and JIRA
• ● Strong understanding of cloud architectures, data center environments, networking technologies, and capacity planning and management
• ● Knowledge of network, firewall, and enterprise storage architectures and the ITIL framework
• ● Very good English language skills in speaking and writing; German skills are an advantage
• ● CV must be sent in English
