About the Role

Responsibilities

• ● Set up, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments across development, testing, and production platforms.
• ● Design, implement, and manage Oracle database solutions to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
• ● Configure and support Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions for database encryption and secure key management.
• ● Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) configurations to support business continuity and minimize downtime.
• ● Manage database backup onboarding activities, including backup configuration, validation, recovery testing, and compliance requirements.
• ● Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
• ● Troubleshoot database incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution within service level commitments.
• ● Support database patching, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance activities while adhering to security and operational standards.
• ● Required Qualifications
• ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• ● Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration.
• ● Proven experience in setting up and configuring Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• ● Strong experience in backup onboarding, backup administration, recovery planning, and disaster recovery processes.
• ● Knowledge of database security, encryption technologies, and access management controls.

Requirements

• ● Oracle Database certifications.
• ● Knowledge of scripting and automation using Shell, Python, or similar tools.
