Workday HCM Consultant

About the Role

Responsibilities

• ● Assess and analyze incoming business requests against current Workday HCM configuration (e.g. Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Absence, or related modules as assigned)
• ● Translate business requirements into functional design specifications and configuration changes
• ● Manage requests through the full lifecycle - intake, impact assessment, prioritization, build, testing, and deployment
• ● Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for configuration changes
• ● Prepare functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and test scripts
• ● Engage with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations on timelines and impact
• ● Track and report on request status and resolution progress
• ● Required Skills & Experience
• ● Hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM (Core HR at minimum; additional modules a plus)
• ● Strong understanding of HR business processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle, org management, compensation, absence, etc.)
